Wakefield Families Together
Wakefield Families Together website has launched to support families in the Wakefield District
The Wakefield Families Together website has launched, providing one easy place for families to find out more about the people, places, and services on hand to provide early help and support within your community.
Because raising a family may have its difficulties and challenges, when you need support there is now one easy place you can access information and routes to find the help you need. We call this ‘early help’.
You can watch the video What Is Early Help for a short overview that will tell you what early help is and how to access it.
The website includes information about the ‘Team Around the School’ (TAS) TAS information here This is a support offer to families that brings together a team of professionals to help children and young people to access additional support when they are showing early signs that they find it difficult to cope. We can support if you have concerns about their behaviour, school attendance or emotional health and wellbeing. Schools in Wakefield work in partnership with the TAS which is made up of: the Children First Team (CF), Future in Mind Partnership which includes Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Primary Intervention Practitioners, and the 0-19 Health Service which includes School Nursing.
