A message from our staff...
Welcome to St Giles C of E Academy
Our Vision Statement:
St Giles is not just a place, it’s a feeling.
A feeling that is part of you
and stays there forever.
A feeling of respect: a hope for the future.
A feeling that fills you with the confidence to achieve anything.
A feeling of faith, love; where we grow together.
The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.”
At St Giles we have children who are enthusiastic, polite and caring; parents who are supportive both to the school and towards their child’s learning and a very dedicated, professional body of staff. We strive to ensure the children enjoy their learning and make good progress through taking part in exciting and motivating lessons and experiences.
Throughout the year Our Christian Values are embedded in all we do and we are very proud to be a part of the community we serve. We have close links with St Giles Church and All Saints Church and are enriched with regular visits to school by Father Mark and whole school worship held at both churches throughout the year.
As a school, we have a strong focus on learning and in helping children become effective life-long learners. We also focus on children's emotional, social, physical and spiritual development.
We strive for excellence in all areas.
Whether you are an existing parent or a prospective parent I hope that our website will give you a flavour of our school and the opportunities and experiences the children who attend our school have access to.
